Analysis of Dynamic Events in the Network During the Operation of a SOFC Hydrogen Fuel Cell

This paper explores the potential use of fuel cell technology in electric distribution networks to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the grid. Solid oxide fuel cells have emerged as a promising technology for generating electricity from hydrogen with high efficiency and low emissions. The use of hydrogen fuel cells in electric distribution networks could reduce reliance on fossil fuels and enable the integration of renewable energy sources. Solid oxide fuel cells could be used in conjunction with other energy storage technologies, such as batteries and flywheels, to create a more robust and flexible electric distribution network. Fuel cells could help to address the challenge of grid stability, which can be a problem in areas with high penetration of renewable energy sources. Therefore, we investigated in presented paper with the dynamic phenomena occurred in distribution power system where the penetration of renewable energy sources are high and as an energy storage system was utilized hydrogen solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC). The integration of fuel cell technology into electric distribution networks is a promising avenue for research and development, as it could lead to significant improvements in the efficiency, resiliency, and sustainability of the grid.
