Studying the Usability of Smart Bone Conduction Headphones from Multi-sensory User Experience

To improve the usability and solve the usability evaluation issue of smart bone conduction headphones, a usability evaluation method based on multi-sensory user experience is proposed. By categorizing the sensory factors of bone conduction headphones into vision, tactile and hearing, combining their influence on design elements, a multilevel usability evaluation system for smart bone conduction headphones subject to multi-sensory factors is built using texts of sensory intentions. Through the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), the weight and priority sequence of each usability index subject to multi-sensory factors are calculated. Sample bone conduction Bluetooth headphones are selected to assess the usability from the tactile factor, providing an effective basis for design iteration. This method can effectively evaluate the usability of products subject to multi-sensory factors and accurately find out the problem for design optimization.
