Remote Temperature Monitoring of Materials Processing in Microwave Reactor Based on Calorimetric Method and Matrix of Thermo-Converters

The aim of the paper is design of remote temperature monitoring of processing materials (PM) in electrodynamic reactor (ER) based on calorimetric method and matrix of thermos-converters (TC). The basics of calorimetric method for measuring the distribution of thermal fields in operating chamber (OC), used at the design stage of the electrodynamic reactor are presented. The formulation of the problems of controlling the distribution of the EMF intensity in the OC and the absorbed power in the PM for the implementation of the calorimetric method at the ER operation stage are described. The problems decision of controlling the EMF distribution in an abstract PM layer with given dielectric properties through the temperature distribution of the TC under microwave heating conditions in close and open OC with the use of computer electromagnetic simulation methods are given. The results of the conducted research are discussed in conclusion, confirming the solution of task raised in this paper – to get information about the process of microwave heating of the PM and it temperature without direct contact with the PM itself.
