Development of Cyber Ranges for Operational Technology

Cyber attacks targeting factories and industrial infrastructure based on OT(Operational technology) have been increasing, and countermeasures are urgently needed. However, the suspension of infrastructure has a significant impact on social activities. In addition, there is a need for more security engineers who can protect industrial infrastructure from attacks, and there is a need for an environment where security education can be provided to train Industrial Control System (ICS) security engineers. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to develop teaching materials for ICS security. This paper introduces on training materials and scenarios in actual and virtual cyber ranges.
