Strategies for Digital Innovation in Talent Management of Automotive Industry 4.0

As the automobile sector is experiencing a profound digital transformation, it may have a deep consequence on the way the industry restructures itself with regards to talent, technology and organizational climate. The development of emerging markets, the quickening adoption of new technology, environmental policies, and shifting consumer ownership preferences are all factors that are causing significant change in today's economic systems. Automobiles will experience a similar revolution to other industries that have already been impacted by digital transformation, increased automation, and innovative business models. The present study looks at the challenges of the automotive sector in India due to the changing landscape of the automotive sector, the transformation driven by digital innovation and the need for an agile workforce. 50 managers were selected and segregated into 5 groups for focused group discussions to collect the primary data for this research. Additionally, the study also proposes a ‘TEAMS’ model for digitized talent management that can bridge the widening technology-talent gap in the automobile industry 5.0.
