An Approach of Intuitive Learning ERD by Using Auto-generated Failure Examples

For decades, the entity relationship diagram is regarded as an important modeling method for transforming information into well-organized structures in databases. The difficulty is how to observe and extract meaning for rules from the real world in the first place. In this paper, we propose a method by that learners can drag-and-drop components for instant diagrams and corresponding auto-generated text results. By reading the stories and comparing them with the abstract concepts in learners' minds, learners can get motivated by the entertainment from the failure experience, or get subtle guidance for the ER modeling.
