Electromagnetic Processes in the Voltage Inverter as Part of the Starter-Generator System of the Aircraft

The article presents the block scheme of the starter-generator system for aircraft. In the proposed model, the main source of electricity is the cycloconverter with natural commutation which operates in parallel with the voltage inverter. In the generating electricity mode the parallel voltage inverter performs the function of an active filter. An algorithm for the analysis of electromagnetic processes for a parallel voltage inverter as part of the starter-generator system is proposed. The switching functions for the transistors of inverter are determined by the spectral approach. Expressions for determining the voltage and current of the inverter are found. The spectrum of the inverter current is determined. The article presents the result of computer modeling of the system under study, which allows us to confirm the validity of the proposed method of analyzing electromagnetic processes in the parallel voltage inverter.
