System Identification and Decoupling Controller Design for Fuel Cell Hydrogen Injection System

The Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) possesses numerous advantages, such as high efficiency, cleanliness, and low noise emissions, making it a leading technology in the future of power energy and a hot research topic for universities, scientific research institutions, and multinational enterprises. The hydrogen supply system is a crucial subsystem of PEMFC, which directly affects its performance and efficiency. This study focuses on the anode system with hydrogen injection, and uses data collected from a hydrogen system test bench to identify the transfer function of the system through relevant technologies. The relative independent control of hydrogen flow and pressure is achieved through the implementation of feed-forward compensation decoupling technology. Both experimental and simulation results demonstrate that the strategy exhibits strong robustness over a wide range.
