The design of a portable pulse diagnosis device based on Raspberry Pi

Pulse information has important clinical diagnostic value in both traditional Chinese medicine and modern Western medicine. Currently available pulse detectors can only measure parameters such as heart rate and blood oxygen saturation, making it difficult to diagnose various diseases based on pulse information. This is due to inaccurate pulse signal acquisition and the need for improved algorithms for processing pulse signals. To address these issues, a portable pulse diagnosis device based on a Raspberry Pi motherboard was designed, and its circuit composition and mechanical structure were provided. Its features include a lightweight and simple structure, but with powerful processing capabilities, making it easy to collect pulse signals in real time and use various algorithms to process pulse information timely and flexibly. Through comparison with existing pulse detection devices, this article further confirms the significant advantages of the proposed pulse diagnosis device.
