Analysis of Ice Melting Current of Catenary Icing

With the rapid development of high-speed railways, some new lines will be extended to the line prone to icing areas. Contact ice on the electrified railway network will trigger off-line bow network, wire dancing, broken lines, inverted poles and towers and other accidents, seriously affecting the speed and safety of high-speed railway operation, to solve the problem of contact ice on the network is becoming more and more urgent, contact network anti-icing, de-icing problems will become one of the key technologies for the railway. At present, thermal ice melting technology with its convenience, high efficiency, can be large-scale de-icing and other advantages in solving the contact network ice problem is more and more widely used. Based on the thermal equilibrium process of the conductor, this paper proposes the calculation model of critical melting current and optimised ice melting current, and compares it with existing ice melting models and test results to verify the correctness and efficiency of the model proposed in this paper.
