Analysis of the Influence of Vegetation Size on Single-phase Contact Tree Grounding Fault Characteristics

Aiming at the problem of mountain fire caused by the contradiction between tree and line, a true type test platform for single-phase contact tree ground fault of distribution line is built. In this paper, the typical vegetation Camellia sinensis is selected to carry out the single-phase tree contact ground fault (TSF) under the 10kV distribution line. Based on the analysis of the experimental phenomena and leakage current changes during tree line discharge ignition, the influence of vegetation size on the current and fire spread rate was analyzed, and the change rules were obtained. From the microscopic point of view, the influence mechanism of size on leakage current is analyzed, and the tree-line discharge vegetation model is studied. The research results have certain guiding significance for the management of vegetation in the transmission line corridor and the prevention and control of mountain fire caused by the distribution line.
