Research and Application of Cable Broadband Linear Impedance Spectrum Test Technology

the reliability of power supply of cable lines is a hot and difficult technical issue in the world. The power accident caused by cable fault is extremely harmful, thus it is vitally important to find the defects in cable laying and operation in a quick and nondestructive manner. Based on this, the online monitoring and diagnosis technology of cable line condition is a key research direction. In this paper, LIRA ACQUIRE technology, a cable broadband linear impedance spectrum test system, is proposed for cable detection and condition evaluation. Firstly, the principle, function, application scope and characteristics of the system are introduced. Then two typical application cases are introduced. According to comparative analysis, the data obtained by the test are consistent with the actual situation, which proves the accuracy and convenience of this technology. It is proved that this system has practical significance for improving the reliability of power supply lines.
