Low-Carbon Optimal Scheduling Considering Source-Load Carbon Emission Constraint

To deal with the change of global warming, the theory of carbon emission flow and demand response(DR) resource are introduced into the low-carbon optimal dispatch for the power grid system. First, this paper uses carbon emission flow(CEF) theory to calculate the carbon indicators, aims to select high-carbon units for carbon capture modification and to formulate carbon emission constraints at the source and load side. Second, with the marginal carbon intensity based on the marginal electricity price system calculated, and a price-based demand response model is established to analyze its emission reduction incentives. At the same time, the low-carbon optimal scheduling model considered the constraints of carbon emission of sourceload side. Finally, use Gurobi solver to simulate the IEEE-30 power system to test the effectiveness of the method.
