The Design and Fabrication of Smart Acupressure Therapeutic Device for Control of Insulin in Type-2 Diabetics Patients

This research study intends to design and fabricate an acupressure therapeutic device to control insulin level in type 2 diabetic patients. The proposed device is designed to be user-friendly and portable, allowing for easy and convenient self-treatment. It incorporates sensors to monitor insulin levels and provide feedback to the user, allowing for personalized treatment and monitoring of progress. Acupressure is believed to be an effective treatment without the use of drugs. The proposed device utilizes the principles of acupressure therapy to stimulate specific acupoints on the body, which are known to regulate insulin levels. This, in turn, releases chemicals into the muscles, spinal cord, and brain. The pressure points for type 2 diabetes were identified and the pressure is given. The fabrication process involves the use of 3D printing technology, ensuring accuracy and precision in the device's construction. A wearable device is designed in order to give pressure at the particular point for a certain time interval. But it should be done regularly and with a proper diet for at least 21 days to obtain results. However, the process may take some time but it's very efficient and effective for the patient and potentially reducing the need for medication and improving overall quality of life. It can even be connected to the mobile application in order to maintain regular monitoring.
