Preliminary Design and Evaluation of Photovoltaic Power Generation-Pumped Energy Storage Integrated System for Rural Areas

With the proposal of the rural revitalization strategy, it is very important to strengthen rural energy construction. In view of the abundant advantages of water energy and solar energy resources in the mountainous areas of western Sichuan, the joint operation mode of photovoltaic power generation and pumped energy storage is adopted to help rural areas from the perspective of efficient energy utilization. Taking Xiangjiao Village in Sichuan Province as a specific case, preliminary design of photovoltaic power generation - pumped energy storage integrated system is explored. Combined with the actual situation of Xiangjiao Village, the application of a 200 kW photovoltaic power system can generate about 351,200 kWh clean energy, which can save about 179,900 yuan in annual electricity expenses for the village.
