Corrected System of Frequency-Current Control of Induction Motor with Phase Wound with Improved Energy and Dynamic Performance

Wide application of an induction motor with a phase wound on hoisting and transport mechanisms, for example, on overhead metallurgical cranes and conveyors, defines the urgency of the task of creating on their basis energy-efficient and relatively simple controllable drive systems. At the same time, a promising area of research is the improvement of the dynamic properties of energy-efficient induction electric drives with frequency control, achieved through the introduction of correction tools. To build easy-to-implement correction systems, it is necessary to use observers of variables in an induction motor that are inaccessible for measurement. It has been established that the universal values for correction systems are the angles between the vector variables that form the moment of the induction motor, which can be identified. In a scalar system, the angles between vector variables can be determined indirectly by calculation using the instantaneous values of other motor variables available for measurement. For systems of scalar frequency-current control of an induction squirrel-cage motor, such calculations are quite complicated, in addition, filtering of the processed pulse signals of instantaneous values of the stator voltage is required, which introduces an error in the calculations. The principles of correcting the control signal for setting the instantaneous values of the stator current to ensure the optimal mutual position are considered between the vectors of the stator current and the main flux linkage. The use of the developed correction systems improves the energy and dynamic performance of the induction electric drive system with frequency-current control.
