Electromagnetic Acceleration Transducer with Eddy Current Transformation

A new variant of an electromagnetic acceleration transducer was proposed. Its operation is based on the physical principle of an eddy current transducer operation, which is characterized by the fact that eddy currents serve as an external field source interacting with the coil field. These eddy currents are excited by the alternating field of the coil itself in the transducer conductive structural elements. The transducer operating efficiency was confirmed analytically and a hardware solution variant was proposed to control the detectable seismic load. The developed transducer with eddy currents transformation can be used to solve the problems of spectrographic seismic prospecting and as a vibration detector to measure mechanical vibrations in the technical diagnostics systems in various machines, power engineering equipment, etc.
