Properties and effect of fly ash in concrete

When the fly ash replace Portland cement in concrete mix production, greatly reduce the cost for raw materials. It is a green solution that satisfies or above performance requirements. This research analyses the influence of fly ash on the properties of concrete in order to maximize the amount of fly ash utilized for a certain purpose. Also, the information used in this study was gleaned from the scholarly literature. The ideal amount of fly ash be subject to on the composition and ratios of all the ingredients for conventional concrete as well as their applications, including the circumstances during placement, construction methods, and exposure conditions. Utilizing fly ash has much more benefits than drawbacks. The lower permeability to water and harsh chemicals is the main advantage. Fly ash-based concrete that has been properly cured results in a denser final product since the pores are smaller. This improves strength while lowering permeability.
