Simulation of current transformer insulation defect identification based on ultrasonic

Aiming at the problem that the quality pre- screening of current transformer requires the rapid ergodic quality evaluation of the transformer. Firstly, this paper establishes a simulation model for rapid ultrasonic nondestructive testing defects of current transformers by investigating and analyzing the common insulation defects of current transformers at the present stage. Then the waveforms of various defects of the measuring transformer under the ultrasonic testing instrument are studied by simulation to analyze the waveform characteristics under different defects. Finally, the comparative analysis of ultrasonic waveforms under different positions and sizes of cracks and bubble defects is carried out. The research in this paper can provide a basis for the use of ultrasonic testing methods to determine the type of transformer defects, and has a certain guiding role in the rapid detection and judgment of transformer insulation defects.
