Evaluation of False Data Injection to Meters in Developed Energy Hub System

The use of information and communication technologies are used, integrated modern power systems with distributed energy sources can be implemented. This results in cyber-physical power systems that are prone to malicious sabotage. Local distributed generation (DG) systems, which include renewable resources, upstream electricity and gas grids, and electric and thermal storage, which are considered the developed energy hub. Modern power systems can be integrated with distributed energy sources utilizing information and communication technologies. In this process, the mentioned information may be manipulated by injecting false data into the system loads, without operator recognition. This study aims to model a sabotage system so that the optimization costs are equal before and after the security system fails. For this purpose, the proposed solution is modeled as a mixed integer linear programming problem and solved by the simplex solver. In addition, the demand changes during the day in such a way that the total false data injected into the measurements are equal to zero. This condition is also regarded as the worst scenario for causing damage to the energy hub.
