Model for Transmission of Multi-carriers Using Optimized Linearly Processed FBMC System

The drawbacks in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing is upgraded using Filter Bank MultiCarrier (FBMC), in which the spectral properties are been improved. In this paper, the FBMC system is designed using optimization technique and the bits are linearly processed together designed as OLP-FBMC. This method separates the even subcarriers and odd sub carriers codes and performs filtering operation so that the signal overlapping will be avoided. To run the overlapped signals a singular value decomposition (SVD) method is used which concentrates on the linearly transformed bits. The linearly processed data is applied to optimization techniques to improve the quality of data by removing interferences. The implemented OLP-FBMC system obeys orthogonality property which can be used in MIMO transmission systems. The implemented methodology achieves better results when compared with other systems like FBMC-QAM and OFDM schemes. The bit error is evaluated for different channels at 5Hz and 70Hz. The proposed OLP-FBMC method shows better results when compared to other schemes. The results are evaluated using matlab tool.
