Performance Evaluation of High Efficiency & Low Cost Bi-Layer Perovskite Solar Cell

As a consequence of the increasing environmental difficulties caused by the extraction and use of fossil fuels, the human race has been compelled to develop unique technologies for the utilisation of sources of energy that are renewable and sustainable. As a result, the photovoltaic conversion of solar energy into electricity using solar cells is a viable and enticing way for attaining this purpose. This is due to the fact that solar energy is plentiful and does not contribute to the pollution of the environment. The ferroelectric feature of perovskite materials provides an electric field that is more efficient in separating e-h couples and improves power conversion efficiency during the photovoltaic process in solar cells. By varying the thickness parameter in divergent layers, the optimal outcome was obtained, as well as quantum efficiency (QE) and I-V characteristics. However, perovskite solar cells have the potential to transform the solar energy sector and contribute to a more sustainable future.
