An Android Application System to Provide Real-time Notification to End Users Using Firebase

Organizations have problems with timely updates of information regarding events or announcements. That often causes a delay in delivering information. Sometimes it is conveyed when it is no longer needed. It could be easier if this information could be delivered as notifications. Beep is an Android application that helps the organization overcome this problem by providing a centralized system when the information and updates can be broken down in the form of notifications. After that users can view all notifications on the dashboard of the app. Beep provides a generalized way that allows an organization to implement it in its ecosystem according to its specific needs. It also allows the organization to have its credentials and V&V methods. Users face challenges such as filtering and prioritizing notifications because importance of each notification varies. Notification should be filtered and prioritized based on the requirements of the user. Notification relevance is a high volume of notifications received by users as the number of apps and services increases. To avoid overwhelming the user, the application should provide a way to manage and reduce notification overload etc. The technique like notification categorization can be used to categorize notifications based on their type, importance, or urgency. This can help the user to prioritize their notifications and respond to the most important ones first. So, our main objective is to ensure smooth flow of notification with customization and user friendly ui/ux experience. [1]
