Performance Analysis and Comparison of Speaker Independent Isolated Speech Recognition System

This paper focuses on performance analysis and comparison of different extraction methods like Bark frequency cepstral coefficients (BFCC) Mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCC) and Linear predictive coefficient cepstrum (LPCC) for speech recognition system. HMM/VQ classification method is used for different feature extraction methods as it performs better than other methods. Comparison is done based on average recognition accuracy in noisy environment.
