Smart e-Public Bus Station Module via on Cloud-based PLC plus HMI Control System for New Nannal Services

The paper presents the prototype module of an electronics public bus station system for servicing as the smart public bus system in the new normal scenario. The aim of this paper was proposed the smart public automation module that based on electronics and digital control platform acted as paradigm shift design for approaching to the smart city of Thailand 4.0 policy especially for public transport systems which have a new service paradigm for crowded people in COVID-19 crisis as an endemic situations. The social distancing policy is one of the best way to use in this scenario, while the cloud communicating technology based on the new era of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) system and Human Machine Interface (HMI) module that can work together for implementing an ordinary PLC with high ability to operate for a long distance communication control with touchless or exposure reduction in the universal prevention scheme and also optimizing the overall performance of the system in the same time. For the renewable energy consumption, the photovoltaic (PV) of solar cell system was used as the solar rooftop of the bus station module with the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) control by Arduino Controller in the battery charging process. The simulations results and many test of real prototype module results in the laboratory scenario were satisfied the V-shaped model analysis concept, but the all of system must be revised again in on-site public area for more practical usage.
