Surveillance System for Improved Energy Efficiency Using LoRa Technology

Nowadays, saving non-renewable energy sources is one of the biggest challenge. Lighting appliances use a significant amount of energy. Therefore, a major task is to increase efficiency and speed up fault detection. The system utilizes Long Range (LoRa) technology to transmit data wirelessly between the sensors and the Raspberry Pi, allowing for remote monitoring of the electronic devices. The Raspberry Pi acts as the central hub for the system, processing the data received from the sensors and providing real-time information about the device’s usage patterns. This information can be used to optimize power consumption and reduce energy waste. Sensors are placed on the devices to collect usage data, and the data is transmitted to the Raspberry Pi for analysis. The system provides a simple and cost-effective solution for monitoring and managing electronic devices, improving energy efficiency and reducing costs.
