Design, Modeling of a Green Building Energy Optimized Efficient System

Traditional buildings waste a large amount of energy and generate significant amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2), approximately 40% in the developed world and 33% elsewhere. Traditional buildings have been built for years without considering being given to their impact on global warming. Since 1973, simulation of green buildings (GB) has started in many countries; in particular, the US has shown a positive response to minimize the usage of energy. Consequently, software companies have developed efficient simulation software to interface interoperability with building information Modeling (BIM). The last decade has witnessed a rapidly growing number of studies on GB energy-efficient systems. However, the study also indicated that the results of the current GB simulation are not yet satisfactory for meeting the objectives of GB. In addition, most of these previous studies were unlikely exclude studies on optimized building energy efficiency simulations. The aim of this study is to meet the objectives of GB by the design, modeling, and simulation of building optimized energy efficiency systems. Thus, this study presents a multilevel, L-shaped office building in which every part of the building material has been tested for energy efficiency. Hence, A total of 78.62% energy is saved, approaching NetZero energy saving.
