IoT Based Health Monitoring and Tracking in Combat

This paper endeavours to design a compact medical monitoring system to monitor the health status and track their location. The health monitoring includes heartbeat and body temperature using biomedical sensors such as Heartbeat sensor, DHT11 sensor that is acquired in the battlefield and transferred to the base station of short range without any interference of third party. This work is determined to protect and monitor the agility of soldiers and trace the location, which in turns minimize the time in searchand rescue operation. The system consists of GPS, which ensures the tracking of the army personnel and transfers the position of the person to the military base. The transfer of data of the person is done by the Wi-Fi module, which ranges about 50 meters (160feets) which makes it more effective for tracking of soldiers who were in long distance from the basestations. The collected data are uploaded in cloud for the data analysis.
