Electric Vehicle Motor Controller Design using ATmega64M1

DC brushless motors have a wide range of applications and solve several issues with brushed DC motors. A dependable operation, great performance of the control algorithm, cheap, and a quick development cycle is required for the development of the BLDC Motorcontrol system. This work proposes speed control of BLDC motors used in electrical vehicles. A digital controller improves the driving system’s adaptability. The process for designing and building the hardware for an ATmega64Ml-based BLDC motor control system is presented. The suggested control system which can also be used in education is comprised of the controller presented in this work. There are two distinct categories of control systems outlined. The first phase is the control phase, which describes the controlling strategy. Secondly, the Power stage determines the MOSFET driver circuit.
