Detection of Electromagnetic Waves Emitted by Double Layer Actions during Droplet and Bubble Breakup and Cavitation

Electromagnetic weaves emitted during droplet and bubble breakup and during cavitation have been studied. In this work bubbles, droplets and cavita­tion were obtained under controlled test conditions. Critical points of cavitation appearance and disap­pearance as well as droplet breakup and bubble burst were determined from the electromagnetic waves emitted during the bubble and droplet motion. Correlation of visual observations, acoustic signals and the electromagnetic signals emitted during the cavitation was achieved.
