An Approach for the Implementation on a Microcomputer of the Control Circuit of Variable Frequency Three-Phase Inverters

The paper describes an approach for the implementation on a microcomputer of the control device of variable frequency three-phase inverters. Smaller memory sizes and faster operations can be achieved either taking advantage by the symmetries and the periodicities of the three-phase voltage system and using different modulation techniques and numbers of commutation per period when the output frequency varies. The description of the device is given in terms of abstract processes to have a clearer view of the different actions carried out by the control system.
