Implementing Advanced Process Control Techniques Using Programmable Controllers

Manufacturing processes for synthetic materials are often based on empirical data tables. These data tables affect mixtures, process steps, and control algorithms. This paper will identify implementation techniques for programmable controllers which utilize empirical data tables. The implementation examples included are: multi-variable functions, adjustable tuning constants, and multi-phase process control.
