Personality Traits Classification from Text Using Deep Learning Model

A relative balance and consistent internal character-istics of an individual's critical features such as thoughts, feelings, and behaviors is important while characterized by a personality. Various theories and models exist for personality traits, like a Big Five Trait Model of personality commonly known as Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism (OCEAN), which puts a broad categories of the human personality that are made up of five basic dimensions. Personality trait classification using the deep learning models is an emerging area of research. In this paper, we present a Bidirectional LSTM network to perform the classification of personality traits based on the big five (OCEAN) model. Our proposed network effectiveness has been measured by Accuracy, Precision, Recall, and F1-Score as performance metrics.
