Agrobot- An IoT-Based Automated Multi-Functional Robot

In today's society, agriculture is a labor-intensive and time-consuming industry. Farmers are suffering from huge losses both economically and in terms of productivity using traditional agricultural methods. By using robotics and automation, we developed a new model called Automatic Agricultural field Robot - Agro-bot. Operations such as digging into the soil, seed sowing, more accurate watering, spraying, and weeding. The solution will help with time constraints and thus, it will help in achieving higher ratesof production. The Agrobot is a robot (four-wheeled) that runs on the Arduino mega 2560. Arduino utilizes an ultrasonic sensor to detect the edge of the field, which allows the robot to move automatically. With the help of an Android application,you can control the device. Initially, the robot starts functioning by being given information like the distance between the seedings, the direction, and the number of seeds to plant in a hole. Furthermore, Agrobot will contribute to the reduction of environmental pollution by reducing the use of petroleum products in agriculture.
