Carbon Emission Optimization of Park Integrated Energy System Based on Operation Simulation

The carbon emission optimization method for park integrated energy system (PIES) based on operation simulation is proposed in this article. Firstly, an optimal mathematical dispatching model of PIES was built in this paper to make an accurate operation simulation of PIES. Secondly, the particle swarm optimization algorithm with good global search ability is used to solve the dispatching problem. Thirdly, the evaluation model and optimization method of carbon emission in PIES are proposed based on emission factor approach. Finally, a case study is given to simulate the PIES under different strategies. There conclusions are made by this work. The simulation results indicates that the model and algorithm can reduce the carbon emission of PIES even though it is not efficient economically. Currently, the economic benefits from gas are still the big problem for reducing the carbon emission. The price of clean electric is expected to reduced. The emission factors of both electric and gas are still high. The clean energy is very essential to reducing the carbon emission.
