Study on Ice Melting Characteristics of Wind Power Transmission Line under High Wind Speed

Traditional studies on ice melting characteristics mainly focus on relevant calculations for low wind speed. Many wind power lines are located in micro-terrain areas with high altitude and high wind speed. There is always a big difference between melting characteristic values and theoretical calculation values, which may easily lead to ice melting failure or collapse of transmission lines. This paper provides theoretical guidance for wind power line ice-melting by studying the characteristics of wire ice-melting under high wind speed.
