Research on Improving Voltage Support Stability of VSG Control System for Wind Power Storage

In view of the uncertainty of wind turbine generator output and its inability to provide inertial support for the system, the DC side configuration energy storage scheme is adopted, and the virtual synchronous generation (VSG) control strategy is adopted in the inverter on the grid side of wind storage power generation. For the traditional VSG does not have the ability of low voltage ride through (LVRT), the VSG virtual impedance reactive power control link is constructed, The input signal of voltage control is corrected in real time to ensure that the wind power storage system has the ability to support the regional grid voltage transient of the power system. In order to verify the performance of the proposed control strategy, the simulation is carried out through MATLAB/Simulink, and the simulation conditions are set as follows: three-phase ground fault and single-phase ground fault respectively occur in the external transmission line of the air storage system. The simulation results show that the introduction of virtual impedance into the VSG control system can improve the output voltage of the converter on the grid side of wind storage power generation under short circuit conditions, play a role of voltage transient support during LVRT, and make the wind storage VSG control system have voltage support stability, which can provide guidance for practical application.
