Evaluation index of battery pack of energy storage station based on RB recession mechanism

With the rise of new energy sources, energy storage plants are becoming more and more widely used. Over time, the safety and stability of the batteries in the stations need to be assessed periodically to determine their degradation level for subsequent maintenance and to ensure reliable operation of the energy storage stations. This study assesses the health status of energy storage batteries by combining ORB(Oriented FAST and Rotated BRIEF) and electrochemical degradation mechanism with isoam discharge temperature rise/time and SOH, and the isoam discharge time and battery discharge temperature rise are highly correlated with the SOH(State of Health) of the battery. is reduced when the amplitude discharge time is shortened and the temperature rise of the battery increases, which can be used as an important indicator to assess the decay and health status of the battery. This study proposes an assessment index to effectively evaluate the health of batteries in energy storage plants, and verifies the validity of the health assessment index. The main conclusions are as follows: 1) The steady discharge time and the degree of battery discharge temperature increase are highly correlated with the battery SOH. 2) The steady rate discharge time and battery discharge temperature rise are prone to large errors when the discharge interval is too small. 3) The use of the three health indicators proposed in this study combined with SOH to assess the health and safety status of the battery can compensate for the shortcomings of large deviations when assessing individual data, effectively improving the accuracy of battery health status assessment and shortening the measurement and assessment time
