Preparation and Properties of Surface Modified TiO2 / PTFE Fluorocarbon Anti-pollution Flashover Coating

The surface of rutile nano-TiO
2
was modified by fluorosilane coupling agent. The modified rutile nano-TiO
2
and PTFE were used as composite fillers and combined with FEVE to prepare a nanocomposite fluorocarbon coating material with anti-pollution flashover performance. The self-cleaning property, anti-ultraviolet aging property, physiochemical properties and electrical insulation of the modified TiO
2
fluorocarbon antipollution flashover coating were studied. The results show that the optimum addition amount of modified nano-TiO
2
is 3%, the adhesion of the coating reaches grade 0, the maximum static contact angle is 123 °, and the volume resistivity is basically unchanged. Then the modified TiO
2
and PTFE composite, prepared a volume resistivity of 2.5 × 10
¹⁰
Ω•m fluorocarbon anti-pollution flashover coating, with excellent anti-pollution flashover performance.
