Digital Data Processing when Reproducing a Unit of Length in the Range up to 60 m

The article presents the principle of operation of the device for collecting and processing measurement information. A software package for calculating the reproduced length is presented. The device is designed to digitize the interferograms and to determine their maxima, to measure the time intervals between them and to transfer the collected information to the software and the hardware setup for the calculating of the reproduced length by an absolute range-finder based on a femtosecond laser (ARFL). The ARFL is intended for reproduction, storage and transmission of a unit of length meter to high-precision laser range-finders and interferometers on a 60-meter laboratory length comparator.
