Mutual Coupling Reduction in MIMO Antenna for UWB Applications Using H Shaped Stubs

In this study, a compact two port multipleinput multiple-output (MIMO) antenna with good performance characteristics in the C band (4-8GHz) and X band (8-12GHz) is introduced. The proposed two port antenna improves isolation (35dB) by using ground plane Hshaped stubs to block surface waves. This design incorporates two radiating patches on FR4 epoxy dielectric of dimensions 38 mm ×32 mm with 1.6 mm thickness. Because of low ECC (<0.03) and DG (>9.96) proposed antenna extends application in Radar, terrestrial and space communication.
