Pseudo Binocular Stereo Vision Camera Realignment using NCC

Stereo vision systems are used in various applications, such as industrial automation. This study used a fuzzy logic-based design to control the vergence of the binocular stereo-vision system in order to mimic the eyes in producing a singular image without the usage of image processing methods like rectification. Results of the study show that images perceived by the system can attain a similarity value averaging above 0.8 despite its low-quality equipment. The study recommends trying other object detection techniques to test for consistency of the system.
