An Optimal Distribution Load Scheduling Considering the Loss Of Energy Expectation (LOEE) and Loss Of Load Expectation (LOLE)

This paper proposes a design of load scheduling in Optimizing the Energy Cost considering LOEE and LOLE applying in different scenarios using different percentages such as 5%, 10%, and 20% demand overload and underload for better comparison of optimization. This study uses an integration of OpenDSS (for distribution system design) and MATLAB (for load shifting and optimization method). With the use of load shifting and Genetic Algorithm, the energy consumption cost was reduced to up to 45% for overload and a maximum of 7% for the underload. Thus, the purpose of this research is to help consumers reduce their energy cost consumption and provide solutions to the overdemand.
