The Development of the Technique for Automated Tracing of Printed Circuit Board Interconnections of Electronic Devices

This article is focused on enhancing the effectiveness and quality of printed circuit board (PCB) interconnection tracing. PCB interconnection tracing is the process of designing and creating connections between electronic components on a PCB. One of the critical criteria for successful PCB interconnection tracing is ensuring electromagnetic compatibility, which refers to the ability of electronic devices to function correctly without interference from electromagnetic fields. The article proposes a solution to the problem of PCB interconnect tracing using a bionic algorithm that mimics the behavior of ants. The algorithm considers two key criteria: minimizing the total length of the connections and minimizing crosstalk. Crosstalk refers to the interference between adjacent traces on a PCB that can cause signal distortion or even complete failure. The primary objective of this paper is to develop an automated tracing technique for PCB interconnections using the ant algorithm. This technique will help electronic device designers create PCB layouts that meet electromagnetic compatibility requirements, minimize signal distortion, and optimize performance. By leveraging the power of bionic algorithms, such as the ant algorithm, this work aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of PCB interconnection tracing. The proposed technique can potentially lead to the development of more reliable and high-performance electronic devices that are better suited to meet the demands of modern technology.
