Photo-Voltaic(PV) Based Electric Vehicle(EV) Charging Using Zeta Converter

A photovoltaic system captures and transforms the sun’s energy into electricity. Because the PV system’s DC power cannot be used directly, it must be paired with a high-efficiency DC-DC converter like the zeta converter. It is like a high-gain buck-boost converter that is coupled to a flyback converter and has a non-inverted output. Additionally, the idea of incremental conductance is used to track the Maximum Power Point in order to get the most energy possible out of the PV system. It is employed to determine the required duty ratio of the zeta converter switch. MATLAB software is used to simulate the proposed system. The simulation is run, and the hardware that was constructed is used to verify the results.
