Analysis of Organic Thin Film Transistor based ALU

Organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) are becoming more popular due to their special characteristics such as flexibility, low temperature, and lightweight. In this research, the performance of some logic circuits designed by using the p-type OTFT (pOTFT) and also complementary OTFT (pnOTFT) are investigated. Extensive simulation results show that the circuits designed by using complementary OTFT are more competent as compared to the other model in terms of power dissipation. However, the time delays for various simple arithmetic operations are almost similar.
