Effect of Process Automation to the HRD Management in Telecommunications/ICT Industry

This study aims to check and assess how the current set up of Human Resource Department in the Telecommunications/ Information and Communications Technology Industry were able to accommodate their employee requests and how do this department perform the proceedings. It will give a better understanding on how the automation process can affect and influence the Human Resource Department of each organization to have this kind of set up. This is in line with the needed adaptation of the industry in the fast phasing of the digitalization of the organizations to continue the processing and continuous flow of information. In the same manner, this study aims to grasp the foreseen effects in both job security and fluidity of the process implementation. The methods used to gather data for this research are systematic literature review and survey collected from the employees working in Telecommunications and Information Technologies industries. The results show that it is very evident that the use of Automation and Digitalization of information handling helps in processing and completion of tasks within their company, most especially in their human resource department. They also understand that in some cases, it is still good to have some transactions done manually and while others can be done online.
