Abstract:

Charitable organizations are the source of livelihood for orphans, the elderly, and the like, especially in one of the poorest countries in Asia, the Philippines. Experiencing a global pandemic made charitable activities such as donations limited. This study aims to develop an online application that will help charitable organizations in Metro Manila become easier to reach for donors to go along with the innovation of technology continuously. This study utilizes a quantitative method, specifically a descriptive type of quantitative research. The respondents consist of 25 donors and five charity personnel. The results show that the confidence level of the respondents before using the CharitAble was low. In contrast, the application received an excellent rating with an Average SUS Score of 91 for the features and functionalities. Subsequently, the confidence level of the respondents increased after using the application. The T-Test findings show a significant difference in the confidence level before and after using the application for both the Charity and the donor. CharitAble offered a new beginning for charity organizations through the innovation of technology and reaching the study's desired objectives. Therefore, it is concluded that CharitAble is a functional application for it satisfies the purpose set by the researchers. The paper can be improved by adding more charity organizations, donors, and respondents that would aid in the development of the application. Future researchers can utilize the study to create related research and can develop this study by improving its practical techniques.
