Development of an Electric Model for Gyrocompass for an Efficient Management of Navigation Equipment

The paper analyses the integrated management system of a marine vessel and the role of the gyrocompass within the governance system. The Energy Management System is presented with the three related subsystems: SafeSeaNet, RIS and ITS. The development of the CSCES, the implementation of the IBC and of the CBM system, the introduction of the PEBB, the supervision of the integrated navigation system with a SCADA system, constitute the basis of the hereby carried out study. Starting from the block diagram of the integrated navigation system, the block diagram for controlling the navigation information was created and depending on the errors given by the gyrocompass, an interface was created that intervenes in the process of digital/analog representation of the signals based on the electrical model of the gyrocompass.
