A Review About The Optimization Algorithm for SLL Reduction in PAA

Antenna arrays have an important role in wireless communication systems as they affect improved performance, reduced cost and effectiveness by suppressing or reducing the maximum the side lobe level SLL of the beam pattern. This is the main problem of the antenna array. It is considered very important because it affects the optimization of the performance and quality of communication. The antenna arrays direct the main beam to the right direction while the secondary beam directs the overlapping signal direction for disposal and can be controlled by certain techniques such as gradual control and capacity control for each element. And with the objective function that has the bulk of the improvement currency, the paper will formulate optimization problems using various antennas that may be linear, circular or random in order to suppress and reduce the side lobe of the beam pattern. There are many search algorithms to solve improvement problems, including SSA, PSO, BBO by comparing them with the conventional signal. All of them were found to have a certain goal of reducing the side lobe of the beam pattern and expanding the research areas in order to obtain optimal solutions more accurately, speed convergence and greater stability. The presentation of the results previously showed that its algorithm cannot be more efficient than others, and different types of algorithms were used to reach the optimal solution, there are still many research and experiments to improve those solutions.
